Our original location in Chinatown opened in January 2007 after many months of blisters, building and breath-holding. We exposed a gigantic brick wall to hang art on, built a coffee bar to lean against and plumbed in enough water to flood Pandora (which actually happened once). The result is a bright, inviting space perfect for meeting friends, being alone, or, really, doing whatever it is you like to do in a coffee shop.

Our second shop, located in the inspiring Atrium building, opened in October of 2010. We’re part of a group of independent businesses located on the ground floor of this building, and although this shop is much shinier than our first, we are still able to retain our original feel, carrying over the aesthetic derived from reclaimed materials and sparse design that is the work of our friend and designer, Caleb Beyers, of Caste. Plus, we’ve got a killer vinyl set-up.
